I originally bought this for myself, but once I received it I realized it was a perfect gift for someone I knew. It is a beautiful shade of blue, that has hints of grey and silver in it. The pearls are are a nice size for both adults and older girls. The recipient of my set actually went to a 11 year old girl who plans to wear them to a wedding reception. For presentation it comes in a velvet white pouch and then in a white box with the name of the maker across the top.
